(Dalton, GA- March 30, 2022) On Monday, March 29, the Dalton-Whitfield County Joint Development Authority (DWJDA) honored a leader of the DWJDA Board, and a valued member of the Dalton community.

Bob Kinard was presented with a service award to commemorate his years serving on the Dalton Whitfield County Joint Development Authority Board of Directors. Mr. Kinard joined the board in 2011.

During his tenure on the board, the DWJDA was able to announce nearly 5,000 jobs and over $1.7 billion in capital investment created through projects in Dalton-Whitfield.

“We are grateful to Mr. Kinard for his years of service to the Dalton-Whitfield JDA Board. Bob has been an integral part of the JDA’s efforts over the years and his knowledge and expertise helped pave the way to our community’s success in today’s economy.  Bob works hard to run his own real estate business, and we appreciate his willingness to share his guidance, wisdom, and friendship over the tenor of the JDA.  He will be missed by this board.”  said Carl Campbell, Executive Director of the DWJDA.

We thank Mr. Kinard for his dedication, service, and leadership.
