Dalton-Whitfield Joint Development Authority Honors Lamar Lyle

On Tuesday, the Dalton-Whitfield County Joint Development Authority (DWJDA) honored a leader of, not only the DWJDA Board but also the community.
[W6B055 Small] Lamar Lyle was presented with a service award to commemorate his years serving on the Dalton Whitfield County Joint Development Authority Board of Directors. Mr. Lyle joined the board in 2012 and served as Vice-Chairman from 2014 through 2016.
During his tenure on the board, the DWJDA was able to announce over 3,700 jobs and $938 million in capital investment to be created through projects in Dalton.
“We are grateful to Mr. Lyle for his years of service to the DWJDA Board. He was always ready and willing to help the JDA in our efforts to grow our community’s economy, while also working hard to manage his business and help our community in many other ways. He will be missed by this board,” said Carl Campbell, Executive Director of the DWJDA.
